The Hall of Meat (HoM) is the system used within Skate 2 and Skate 3, when the character bails, and is awarded a score based on how bad the bail was.
The HoM is sponsored by Thrasher. This is taken from the real life magazine. The magazine was founded in 1981 by Kevin Thatcher.[1] The magazine and website both contain the feature that showcase some of the worst bails from pro skaters such as John Rattray and Dave Abair.[2]

[edit] Skate 2
In Skate 2 the system is used every time the player bails. A points system is calculated based on 4 criteria;
- Points
- Body Damage
- Style
- Objects
The more you spin, the longer your air-time, the amount of object you hit etc. all add to the overall HoM score. Whilst you are bailing you have some loose control of the movements of your character with each cardinal direction of the right stick defining one of four movements;
- Up - Cannonball
- Down - Spread Eagle
- Left - Torpedo
- Right - Judo Kick
You can trigger an intentional bail at any time by pressing in both sticks and both triggers. You can also control the spin on the character whilst traveling through the air.
In addition to the points being allocated for each bail, there are also HoM challenges to complete. These consist of tasks such as gaining so many overall points, or hitting 2 pedestrians in a single bail. You can view these in-game through Slappy's Blog You can see a full list of all 60 challenges below.

[edit] Skate 3
In Skate 3 the HoM system was changed slightly; with the scoring system being removed from each and every bail. However you still have control of the character with the inclusion of a sort of jump feature. You can now spring up using your legs or arms for added bail time and spin/distance/air time etc.
In replacement to the lost HoM scoring of normal bails, there are now HoM objectives. These consist of hitting certain areas or performing certain movements.
You can still perform the four movements using the right stick, just as with Skate 2, however you can now do these without bailing. When you jump if you move the stick in any of the four positions your character will move his body into shape.
