Background

Skate 2 is the sequel to the ground-breaking 2007 game Skate.

Storyline

It has been five years since the events of Skate took place. Your character has been sent to prison, and is finally being released. During the time you spent there, a series of earthquakes struck San Vanelona, causing mass chaos and evacuation. Skate It for the Wii is based around these earthquakes. Since those times, the city has been rebuilt from the ground up. New power is also in order. The company Mongo Corp. is now making sure that skateboarding is not taking place in San Vanelona, making it much harder to get your tricks down around the city, and especially downtown, which hoisted the best spots in Skate.
