Flickit Controls

An example of the Flick-It control system.

The control scheme for the Skate series is known as 'Flick-It Controls'. These are used to perform flick tricks. To perform a flip trick you simply flick the right (analog) stick in a certain direction. The direction defines which trick is performed.

The idea is that the movement of the stick emulates the movement of the feet of a real skater. This system is the main area in which the Skate series differs from Tony Hawk games.
